Inspired by the history of the Old West and the cowboy way of life, artisan Mike Roths of Bear Paw Designs has been designing and building fine Western furniture since 1979. Bear Paw Designs is located in the scenic Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana, where Mike and his wife Jo live. They have two grown daughters.

Each knife starts with a functional design in which every line achieves a specific purpose. Beauty and function are an integral part of the design, and painstaking care is given to each step in the creation process to ensure a maximum blend of style and performance.
